          The M52 engine is OBD2 and the M50 engine is OBD1.

          No, the OBD2 harness will not work.

                              If your making your m50 obd2 it will work. Other wise no, because the obd2 harness has different/more connectors.

                                      If your engine is running as OBD2 of course the OBD2 harness will work.
