been doing this swap in my free time for quite a while now.. everything is great minus the wiring. im one of those people that tries to figure everything out without asking for help. but i have gotten to a point with this wiring that i want to push this damn swap off a cliff.
ok so i have searched this forum and e30 tech. read through millions of posts and basically know the wiring diamgrams by heart. i have made numerous pin outs for different make and models and nothing is matching up on my e30 side. i am missing 5-7 wires that i think i would need and the ones i have dont match up to pin locations. have read bits and pieces of a couple wires that are located in the glove box on the early models but coulndt find anyone who explained this?... from everything i have read i have got my harness adaptor to a point where the engine turns over when you turn the key but no power to the fuel pump relay while the main relay does have power. now am i missing something completely? could the ecu be bad? (red label 413)
im not looking for replies such as go search or newb or anything. trust me i have searced and searched and even recieved some help from a couple buddies who are rediculas with electrical and even they got frustrated with not being able to figure out why the wiring diagrams dont match the car.
if anyone could, please point me in the right direction. i would love to drive this car again.
