    Motor Mount Arm Issue

I am having an issue with the drivers side motor mount arm. The problem I'm having is that only 3 of the bolt holes line up. As seen in this picture with 3 of the bolts in the lower rear bolt hole doesn't line up with the threads in the block.

Here are the holes on the engine I pulled the mount arms from.

And here are the holes on the block of my engine

So what on earth is going on here? If you use the ridge in the block as a reference point it is pretty clear that the lower rear hole sits further ahead on my block. Did different years have different motor mount arms? What is my solution here?

    Thanks

Ive also run into this issue once. It appears the late OBD2 motors moved the hole on the arm. (its slotted)

Any suggestion on how to address it? Do I need to source a new arm with the slotted hole? Or can I just slot the arm I already have?

        yikes..!
my s52 didnt have that (1997). It appears that if you slot it you'd get to the mount, i would certainly prefer that to running 3 bolts... and pics of the arm, looks good 0.o

You should be fine having that 4th hole slotted. I'd just make sure to put a little red Loctite on that bolt (well, all of them).
