        Hi, Cool looking product!

        Couple of quick questions?

What belt do you have to run due to the power steering pump and alternator being moved?
What is the small block for in the picture?
What rating hardware do you supply with the kit?

        Thanks!

        Looks really nice!

          Thanks,
We cant take credit, Dave Weaver designed we are just bringing to market.

The small block is to shift the alternater pulley so you can run stock belt.
You can omit the supplied block and just run a belt that is 1" longer.
The hardware is SFC Grade 8.8

          Thanks
          L

What's the benefit of this over the oil cap adapters?

Do the 24v engines need an oil cooler if they're going to be tracked?

Looks like these have more ports which is nice to have oil temp/pressure sensors in there. Most cap adapters only have the 2 in/out for the oil cooler I think.

Probably not, but it seems like a good idea. Better safe than sorry, am I right?

Yes it is, if the design doesnt meet your needs its not for you. For someone that needs all functions this provides, its a good value.

This is nice bit of gear. It's like a happy medium between OEM and VAC's replacement oil adaptor, and you get to keep the OEM filter and housing.

Agreed just cuz I'm a cheap bastard has nothing to do with errybody else!
For the record I still don't know the actual price it just looks like more C&C work than the caps with all the seal passages and such.

It's great we have Levent to R&D this type stuff! I would have preferred a oil cap type solution so I wouldn't have to mess with the belt and rearranging stuff.

I like that it positions the line feeds downward. Should make for easier adaptation to a stock E30 oil cooler and is also more asthetically pleasing than lines randomly jettisoned from the oil cap around the engine bay.
