i took the plastic e36 case off, removed the wire at the factory junction, and pulled it out.

I only have one ground strap to the engine from the chasis, do i need two?

Yeah I just didn't want hella loose wires laying around in the bay :/

Is it just that ground from the frame to the passenger motor arm? IIRC that's the only ground I have to the engine as well

the cars come from the factory with only one strap from chassis to engine. just make sure it's in good shape, i usually make a new one.

I don't know anything about the Z3 wiring. You can find diagrams for the engine harnesses out there.

you dont need the red one and use your e30 started wire
