So, I'm making some decent progress on my m52 swap. My engine/trans are properly mounted up, cooling system is plumbed, harness and ECU are in the mail from Markert Motors. Now I'm not sure what to do with my fueling.
I'm planning to use the m50 manifold and it sure would be easy to use the m50 fuel rail and FPR with it. That would eliminate the running losses valve and make for a slightly cleaner install overall. Am I going to end up with a chronic CEL if I go this route? Since this isn't a federally mandated part of the system like a rear O2 sensor, maybe it'll just store a code??? I am also not interested in an engine that just runs OK. I want it to start up and run properly like a factory m50 or m52.
I've searched through all the threads I could find on ob2 setups and found very little info. What have you guys done?
I wish I'd thought of this part before sending my ECU off. Maybe I could have had it programmed out like some of the other emissions stuff.
Thanks for your ideas
