    Heat Shielding?

I tore out all of the old heat shield junk in my trans tunnel, and I am trying to find some decent stick on stuff. Anyone have any suggestions?

I tore out the old heat shielding as well because it was all crumbly. I ordered some thermo tec off of amazon and installed it with some high temp adhesive. Not sure how well it's going to work because I haven't driven the car yet, but I got this idea from other people who have had success.

I did the same, but instead of reinstalling heat barrier in the trans tunnel under the car, I applied 2 layers deep of heat/sound barrier inside the car, wrapping the entire trans tunnel under the carpet. Appears to work quite well, even after a 3 hour drive last year with a lot of... spirited driving, I felt no abnormal heat around the consoles or on the sides through the carpet.
