After DDing for 3 months thoughts

Been dding my S52 swap for a few months now finally got a proper ignition and keyless working so it's starting to act more like a regular car.
No cruise and no A/C yet but the throttle mod more than makes up for it.
I have almost $3g's in thin little car and it brings me more joy than my old 911 that was 10X the cost to buy AND maintain!

It's tame on the the streets if you are light on the gas and keep it under 2500-3K it's very....normal. :dot: But press all the way down and hope your not in 2nd cuz it will bust loose and whip around on ya.

I got a Husco to hold morning Joe and the HID's light up the night better than any other car in the stable, even teh real M car. Turner shifter and DSSR make the shifts feel like a 100K car. so awesome.

I am damn pleased with this swap, the last one was more of a labor of love, this one is rewarding as hell!

And for the price, it's worse than a sore dick. You can't beat it.

The only bad things I have to say is if you have brushes with the law and are have fines you can't pay, do not build this, you will go to prison express lane style. Self control is kinda mah with this pedal egging you to push a little more and go for wheelspin tire kick. :-|

It's a Turner shifter it's blue and says Turner in white on the side. I don't see it on the site now it's pretty old, came from a wrecked e36M3 all modded out. Works great though.

You break loose in second??? What type of tires and what diff are you using? I am using a ZF and 2.93lsd and don't have any traction issues. I am running bfgoodrich g-sports ( I think ). I am more wondering if something is wrong with my car, actually.

3.73 that came in the car. tires are a mis matched set of 195/60's

If you get on first it will spin all the way into 4th. if you are just chillin in 2nd at about 2200 and punch it, you will be the other direction.

                  Holy dash cracks batman!

Oh and I think your steering wheel is a little bit off centre. Just you know like 45 degrees.

What's your gas mileage like for curiosity's sake?

which tranny / DSSR / shifter do you have if you don't mind me asking? Did you have to modify the DSSR?

There is definitely something wrong with your car. Even with a diff that tall you should have no issues breaking loose in second. In my friend's with an obd1s52 and 3.45LSD it almost loses traction in third with 235's all around.

I think my MAF is totally shot. Unplugged it for the past 2 days and the car is running much smoother. Have another one on the way to check. Could be that or my vanos, I suppose.

Tires actually make a huge difference in traction. I know lol isn't that surprising?

Cheap shit tires have fuck all for traction, where as extreme performance summers have much more. My previous tires were some lower grade Hankook ventuses and I had no trouble busting 2nd loose, when I switched to the Dunlop Direzza Starspecs I gained shit tons more traction I actually have to try to break 2nd loose now.
