    will these headers work with my swap?

    I bought an M50 w/ vanos OBD1 motor and im putting it in my E30







    I might grab those headers but, will they fit with my swap or do I need shorties?

    Its tight but it should fit. I have them in my swap.

      i have them on my S50 swap, fits, a bit tight but clears everything without any mods...

      1988 325is S50 in-progress.

        they sold on me but I'll probably get something close to that, should I just look for shorty headers ?

          The only issue with the shortys is having the exhaust hooked up there is a pain, but with the right exhaust shop you can end up with more clearance below the car. My long tube headers hang a little lower than I like.

            For me, the long tube headers did not fit. The collector rested on the sway bar. I had to buy the Raceland shorties. My Racelands are a bit raspy though.

            Also you can buy these on eBay all day long for about $110. So the $150 is over priced IMO.

            Hope you find some that work.

              has anyone tried using these style of headers? they look to be a tms shorty knock-off and possibly bolt onto the e36 downpipes. I'm redoing my m50 exhaust and this would allow me to keep the downpipes.
