Don't think it'll plug into the harness. You need an obd1 e36 o2 sensor.

Mine plugged into my 95 obd 1 harness. I cant vouch that it is electronically the same.

Interesting. Well just saying, my 87 o2 sensor would not plug into my 93 e34 harness.

then no. as long as it's the twidt one, it'll work. you can always cut the plug off and solder on the twist on plug though.
