Why wont the tach work? I have an 87, and found I have a junkyard gauge cluster installed in it. However it does have the coding plug. I was able to swap the tach from a 325i along with its coding plug and everything is right as rain.

So if he was to swap the whole cluster and its coding plug I don't see why it wouldn't work.

don i never had rpms im using an after market one right now but i want my cluster to work but i have to get a new one because my gas gauge dosnt work how can i fix my rpm problem my mph work just not my rpms nor my tem
