    DME relay question

So i have been having trouble getting my engine to start. (No spark, No injector firing, no icv sound at turn key, no cel). As I hunt as to why my dme is not powering up, i check power at dme (413 Red, pin 26 - has constant power). I checked the dme relay pins (at relay) and pin 8 and 9 have power. I go back and check the dme relay wires to the dme (those pins have no power). I added an additional ground (strut tower to ground on dme relay) to the dme relay, which turned the CEL on, icv hums, and i can hear the fuel pump prime. But the icv doesnt turn off when key is out, and still does not fire.

any specific ideas on what to check? Im trying to get this thing to run, because shops will charge way too much for this work. Only problem is i am still learning electrical work, and about this engine.

    Any help is much appreciated!

    Which harness are you using?

Did you hook up dme power wire to the junction block?

How are your power/grounds for the harness connected? What 3 relays are you using?

Yes that ground connected. but I have one chassis ground to engine mount, the harness ground and the coil pack ground.

It sounds like your Switched power is hooked up to your constant in your harness adapter.

First get your key to actuate the CEL, from there you can solve the rest of the problems.

And the hots and grounds that the earlier poster was referring to should be hooked up to the B+ distro block, along with a ground over there.
