fuel filter

this is prob a really easy question but when i was ordering a new fuel filter for my motor i noticed the the filter for the 95 s50 is a huge long one. and the one that came on the motor looked similar to the size of the factory e30 one. there was also a break at 09/1994 that changes from the fat one to the skinny one. id assume that a 95 m3 was post 09/94 and would require the long one but the shorter one would fit best. what are you guysrunning

I'm using a stock E30 M20 filter, but relocated next to the pump under the car.
