    Lightweight or heavyweight?

So, I have both a Euro (lightweight) M20 flywheel and the factory (singlemass I believe) flywheel off my 90 325 Convertible.
I'm trying to decide if I should use the lightweight flywheel or not.

After seeing a few threads about the pressure plate straps coming apart I feel a little apprehensive to use the flywheel. Any input?
I'll be using an OEM M20 SACHS clutch/PP

The issue is that the M20 pressure plate can't hold together when subjected to meaningfully more power. The flywheel won't really impact whether or not it comes apart. If you're using anything much more powerful than an M50, suck it up and get a real clutch.

Youll get quicker revs with the lightweight flywheel but youll trade that for clutch chatter. Its not too bad in my opinion. But I do warn you that it will be amplified when you are going through a fast food drive thru. Lol

          The chatter is REALLY annoying.

The "phenomenon" I'm referring to is how people say that the S50 was designed for the dual mass flywheel and putting a lightweight flywheel on throws off the balance on the engine, and the first thing to break is usually the pressure plate straps.

And as I said, the real problem is that the M20 pressure plate just isn't tough enough to withstand an S50. Period.
