    Motor and trany togethor?

Can you drop the m50 and the transmission in togethor, or do you have to put them in seperatly? Is there even enough room to bolt the transmission up after the engine is in? Thanks again, you guys have been a big help

It is possible to bolt the tranny on after the engine is in, but it's probably easier to put the two in together.

Done it a few times and I've found its much easier to pull them out and put them in as one assembly. That is, unless you have access to a lift.

just make sure you have a load leveler, or a two-way come-along. Either of those will turn it into a one-man job.

Thanks alot, I need to go pick up a leveler. By the way I'm still trying to figure out for sure if my getrag 240 transmission will work, what are the differneces between the 240 and 260? Thanks

If you remove the powersteering and the alt it will make life easier. Make shure your condensor is removed as well as the rad. You will need all the room you can get!
