Not like that's a big deal, just get your chip tuned for an increased idle speed to around 900 rpm's.

I have an m20 flywheel lightened to ~1/8" from the flywheel and it was computer re-balanced with the pressure plate.

Scares the crap out of me hearing all this talk about removing 20-30% of the mass from the flywheel and not mentioning re-balancing.

      Question:
-How many of you did NOT get your flywheel re-balanced?
      -What weight are you at?
      -What are you experiencing?
-Do you get special parking spots?

Mine was rebalanced and it was a little over 13 lbs when all was done.

don't they sell lightweight m20 flywheels , would they fit or no?

how much is everyone spending on the shave plus balancing? I was thinking it would cost around 50 bucks but looks like its costing a bit more than that?

edit, nvm they look real expensive. I"ll just go and get mine refinished, shaved and balanced.

I have a 13lb Euro flywheel. We'll see how that works out on my S50

Machined the material off my own, brought to local machine shop to be balanced. No worries.
