    Power Steering Removal

    Im not going to run power steering on my s50 swap and i was wondering what is the best way to run the belts. Can i get rid of one of the tensioners? any suggestions would be great

    All serpentine belts need tensioners, so you'll have to keep that. What you could do is use a string to measure how much shorter of a belt you will need with out the pump. Be carefull though, if you measure the entire path you will need to compress the tensioner to get the correct size. Once you know what length you need, you can order a belt from autozone just by the size, you don't need a car to reference it to.

      I just measured the belt that was sitting on my desk.

      I used to have the part number from schucks... but i dont have a clue where that is any more... I never did figure out what car it was to.
