Couple OBD-II wiring questions (Not C101/x20 adapter)

Bumping this. I'm interested in the answer to question #2 as well.

I kept everything stock and didn't cut anything. Taped off the power terminal that's part of the sap relay tail, as that would go to power the fuse box on e36 but e30 doesn't need. Connected 12v starter as I normally would, and on the ecu side I wrapped it around to fit nicely. Not beautiful like the IG photos show of people's cars but looks good. I didn't want to f it up Haha.
