    Pilot Bearing

I am using the m50, and g260, the motor used to be a auto, do I need to put a g260 pilot bearing in the motor?

Yes. You need a pilot bearing from an M20 to match up with the G260 tranny.

Do I need to run the felt ring and plates? I have them, but they don't fit.

Lol. That's for when pilot bearings weren't sealed. You don't need anything but the bearing.

odd, ended up sticking it in with a plate for spacing purposes.
                    Good to know though!

Spacing purposes? You shouldn't be spacing it.

I always buy a sealed pilot bearing when replacing them.
