    Extra 12v power wire

I disconnected a 12v power wire a long time ago when I pulled my M50, and now that I have it in the car, I can't figure out where it goes. I have one on the starter and this one is fused off of that so it goes

POS Batt terminal->this wire^->starter wire. Not sure what this is supposed to power. Starter won't turn and fuel pump doesn't come on when I turn the key without it connected. I think this is the last thing I need to be on my way to finishing up the wiring.

You need to use the stock M20 starter to batt terminal wire. Rip out the rest of the E36 power wires.

Even when using the G250? The car came with an M40 anyway, I'm assuming I'll just use the M40 starter wiring.
