    Squeaky throttle/gas pedal?

    Hi all,

I am hearing a variety of squeaky sounds when I open the throttle of my S52. They all sound like a squeaky unlubed bicycle wheel - very high pitched. The fun part is the squeaks only happen during a certain range of how far im pushing down the gas pedal. It has nothing to do with the tach. So if 0% is no throttle and 100% is full throttle on the gas pedal, I can make my car squeak by holding my gas pedal between the 30-35% range. It's kinda fun, but Im ready for it to go away now. I've looked around under the hood with no luck. Any thoughts?? Thanks in advance.

Your gas pedal squeaks so you looked under the hood...?

Try putting a little bit of lube on the pivot points on the pedal and see if that helps.

Haha sorry, it def sounds like Im talking about the gas pedal but theres no way its the actual pedal. The noise is coming from the hood, is very loud, and has 3 or 4 different oscillation patterns between 30 and 35%. Should have specified.
