Picked up the car Friday evening from the shop, they used a 944 booster, but I'm putting allot of force into the brake pedal, is it possible they didn't modify the rod length of the booster? If I remove and shorten the rod can someone tell me approximately what the new length needs to be?

That would be 944 booster + stock master. Under boosted so it requires more force.

ITs a shop that builds club racers for Porsche and BMW club guys, I talked to them yesterday and he said they modified the booster, he described the mod exactly as its recommended on here. He said the booster just doesn't work as well as the stock one and thats as good as it gets. I'll search the site and find recommendations on things I can do.'91 318is, S50 swap, Bilsteing/H&R race, Recaro SRD, etc.

I'm planning on doing new pads and rotors, I'll wait until thats done before deciding if I want anything more.
I don't mind the pedal feel so much, gotten used to it, I used to drive 944's and it has that same numb feeling, I'll deal with it.
thanks guys!'91 318is, S50 swap, Bilsteing/H&R race, Recaro SRD, etc.
