Well I shelled out 1500 for a s52 with 88k on the clock good compression #s so i guess I'm right in the middle ...

my s50 and zf tranny were 1100, so a s52 would be more than that.

Did you check Craigslist and eBay? That is normally the place to check for a average of market value.

i did but they were in an insane price range like i found some for $1000 with 160k all the way up to $5000 for 70k so it was just a crap shoot for an average

S52 + ZF trans with around 70-80K miles in good condition with all accessories is around $2600-3000 in my neck of the woods. Just purchased an S50 without trans for $1500 with 120K miles on it and thought it was a great deal.

I sold a combo w/ 110K miles few months ago for $2900.
