    tachometer question

Ok, i'm done with the e30 m3 s50 conversion. The only thing I can see wrong is the tachometer. It is not accurate. It pegs at 8000 rpm and the engine still can go more. at idle it is at 1100 rpms. Is there something I'm forgetting that needs to be added?

You need a 6 cyinder coding plug. It fits in the the back of the cluster, you can get one new for about $60, or buy a used cluster, or find somebody with a shit cluster that will sell you the plug.

    the part number is 62111385468.

Yeah, I have the same problem in my e30 m3 s50, but haven't gotten around to fixing it yet.
