    Bottom three trans bolts?

The G260 has 3 small bolts on the lower quarter of the transmission, the e34 oil pan does not have these small holes to bolt into.
Has anyone ever done anything about this? I feel as though it would be good to have something down there.
Has anyone just drill small holes in the oilpan and run bolts through?

I don't think it's necessary. the 4 big torx are plenty to hold the motor and trans together. I've beat on my s52/g260 combo for a couple of years with no ill effects, just yanked the tranny to a lightweight flywheel and there was nothing alarming

Same, just running the big 4 Torx bolts too, just make sure they're torqued down to spec, you'll be fine.

Sounds good, just drew my attention when I noticed them.

Ya look at the size difference between the 3 small ones and the main 4 .
