ETA to m50tu harness.

okay so in the middle of swapping my eta i purchased an m50 from a fellow r3ver except his harness was pinned out for a late model.

i cut my square c101 connector off of my m20b27 and am going to make a straight connection, no adapter for the car. my question is which harness is which on the m50 and what are they used for. im pretty sure one is the x20 (which im unsure of its use), and the other is for late model c101's. one is a 20 pin and the other is 25 i believe.

can anyone tell me which harness is the late model c101 and what the other is for?

i was under the impression that the top was the diagnostic port whereas the bottom is the c101 (engine harness to body harness).
