Anybody ever had matching harness wires?

So I put together a harness for my m50 swap and I used the chart from somewhere in the internet (I think AKG) and almost all of the colors of the wires matched up which seems kinda weird.

My engine is a 95 325is and the car is an 87 325i convertible.

So has anybody ever had this happen or did I fubar my adapter.

not unusual. I think most of mine matched up as well. as long as you verified function, you should be good to go

Werd to scottinaz. I have read several charts that similar colored wires and I have also seen some that were completely different. I guess I am just being a waffleswaffleswaffleswaffleswaffles about turning the key on my car for fear I will wreck my whole electrical system.

I only had 2 wires that didn't have the same color.
Just turn the key waffleswaffleswaffleswaffleswaffles :P

You should be using pin locations to confirm also.
