Turner motorsport powerpulley kit difficult to get belt on?

Hey all, I picked up TMS' power pulley kit, but it's impossible for me to get the belt to slip over the pulley that is attached to the hydraulic tensioner. Has anyone run into similar problems? I'm pretty sure I'm orienting the belt correctly. Can someone tell me what I'm doing wrong? Belt they supplied also below for reference

Note I know that the belt is not over the alternator or under the topmost pulley in the pic, I didn't want to leave it on partially putting stress on the grooves of the belt to f it up.

    Thanks for the help guys

My belt was really tight to get on but it does look like you have quite a bit to go before it slides over. 1598mm is correct though

When everything is routed correctly it almost makes it but the tensioner is completely compressed and the belt wont give any to let me slip it over. I don't think I'd need another foot worth of length to make it work; the belt is currently 1598mm. Can anyone that's used this kit chime in?

I think I figured out my problem. I bought an oil cooler adapter plate from guten parts and I think that puts one of the pulleys out further effectively requiring that I either take it off or find a longer belt that will work... fuck.

Just buy a longer belt. 60623 or whatever the number is, is the length in inches ... Just buy the next number and try it, otherwise return it.

that belt looks a good 4-6" shorter than what it needs to be. just sayin.

its supposed to go crakn-PS-Alt-idler-Water-Tensioner-Crank. Waaay short.

Your picture is misleading because your tensioner is all the way forward.

You need to place the belt around all the accessories first then put full tension on the tensioner pulley to bring it all the way back then slip the belt around it.

Did you use the small adapter that came with the oil cooler kit. It moves your idler pulley back to its original position.

Also, as robert K said your tensioner is in the full tension position.

that adapter actually moves your tensioner AND idler pulley out more.

even if you have the tensioner compressed, it probably will not fit becuase both are moved out slightly.

Sorry I haven't come back to this in so long. I have the adapter but I'm not sure how it's supposed to be installed to move the pulleys. Does anyone have a pic of th adapter installed that I could use for reference?
