    CSB backwards with early model

I have an '87 zf/s52. I currently have a 96-99 m3 driveshaft and new, early style CSB (<08/87) waiting to go in to replace my current DS. is it still correct to mount the CSB backwards, even with the EARLY style? seems like it wouldn't be able to go onto the mounting bolts in the body. Can anyone with the early style chime in on this?

If youre running E36 driveshaft install it on the driveshaft backwards.

you need to install it backwards. otherwise the driveshaft won't be straight. ask me how i know... it's not about the holes not lining up. if you look at the CSB it is not centered on the bracket. it needs to be shifted towards the passenger side i believe.
