Throttle cable question

So I need to replace my throttle cable as it is broken now.
Can I use the throttle cable from e30 an still have it function just fine? Or should I use the e36-e34 m50 throttle cable variant?

You can make the E30 one work but I recommend against it. The E34 cable is the charm.

if the cable is crap anyways, use the E34 cable (as previously stated). why monkey with something (E30 cable) when the alternative is a perfect fit
