S50 w/ E30 M3 tranny

First off will this work because supposedly the 240 doesnt and this is off off a 4 cylinder car too . Just seeing if there was any relation .

Thanks i think , anyway will i still be able to use the e30 driveshaft, because i read there is a slight difference in length from the 260 to the 265.

the 265 doesnt bolt up directly to a s50: it has a bigger bell housing.
