M52 swap, e34 windage tray ?

Hi there

My e34 oil pan comes with the windage tray built in. Can i remove the m52 windage tray and go with the e34 oil pan ?

i'm asking this because i'v seen some guys cutting que the e34 oil pan and modifying the e36 windage tray to let it in... maybe to avoid crank counter weight interference ?

pull the windage tray off the block. no harm, no foul.
