    How to eliminate brake pad sensor?

    Im currently in the process of swapping in a M52 and plan on shaving my bay.
    Is there anything I need to know/ do for the brake pad sensors?
    Can they just simply be removed from the harness?

    Why would you -- it sits mostly outside the bay does it not? I would just wind it up under the fuse box or secure it unplugged where it's supposed to go...

      It passes right along side both shock towers and i wanna shave the holes that they go through

        As long as it is a closed circuit I think your okay. IIRC what happens when the brake pad wears out, it wears through the wire and you end up with an open circuit.

          So basically id have to cut the connector and jump them together.

            I have never bought new wear sensors. I have just left the plugs untouched. The light has never came on.

                You need to short the circuit. The wear sensor is basically a piece of wire secured to The brake pad. When it wears through the circuit opens and triggers the warning light on the dash. I would get a good wear sensor or fix a broken one, plug it in and pull the wires back and hide them inside the dash. This way you can go back and hook them up if you change your mind.
