I have a 1995 S50 that came from an automatic. Do I need to provide the DME with a high/low signal for transmission range? (I.e. park/neutral) Also next to the x20 connector there is another large round connector/does anyone know the connector number? TIA!

I also used an auto trans harness.
I did not have to provide a trans range signal, and in fact, removed all of the auto trans crap that was in there. To do this, find the appropriate connectors and start snipping out all the wires. will cut your harness down by about 50%. it seems a bit drastic, but its easier than it sounds

I rip the auto stuff out of harnesses all the time. Just take your time and youll be fine. Youll be left with some extra power wires, some grounds, and some data TX/RX lines to the DME. Cap and go!.
And no need for anything fancy with the park switch.
