    24v swap no brakes

I have 740i brake booster and e34 535i master cylinder. I have bleed the system with no problems but i have no brakes at all! Pedal is stiff as a dead corpse! I have change the vacuum line and replace check valve and still no brakes. can someone help me out with some advice on what to check for or do? Thanks in advance !

Well, if you are getting vacuum in the line, then it's most likely to be a dead booster.

It could also be an improperly adjusted booster fork - if it's adjusted too short, then the pedal can yank on things.

the brakes don't have much grab without vacuum assistance but they do have some stopping power. If you have zero braking like stand on the pedal and the car still rolls on a slight incline I'd say you have a different problem to a dead booster, maybe a totally seized master? Have never seen that happen but I guess it's possible.

When you were bleeding it did you use vacuum or gravity or pump the pedal? If pumping the pedal forced fluid through then I guess you can rule out seized master.
