    *help* Slow start

i got my e30 about 2 months ago its a m52 OBD1 swap with about 90k on the motor. so in the past two days when i go to start the car it has a slow hesitating start like almost the starter is dying? Wanted to know if that is the case or is it a ground that could be causing the issue. Help me to track the issue down. Thanks r3v

to clarify the car will crank and start in normal time (usally a few chugs before turning over normal) but the chugs are super slow sounds like its about to die. i think the battery is ok but im not going to rule it out. it might be a ground. is there a ground strap on the starter? were should i start to look?

ground strap attaches to the block and the frame. should be on the oil pan on the driver's side. Never hurts to add more.

But usually, this is a sign of a dying battery.
