    E30 s50 temp gauge not working

    I just completed an e30 s50 swap and cannot get temp gauge work...can any one give me any help thanks..

      besides verifying continuity in the wiring, checking the gauge itself, and making sure the sensor isn't kaput.. did you install the e30 brown-top temp sender in the s50 head?

        No,e30 temp señor every thing is stock from the s50

          And is it the sensor in the back I have to change on the head or is it the first one close to the front of the head

            Fairly certain it is the rearmost sensor that should be replaced with the e30 brown-top.

              the one in the rear. change to e30 brown

                  black sensor runs the ecu - keep this one to run the ecu.
                  blue one runs the e36 gauge - change this one to the brown e30 gauge sensor.
