    OBD2 EWS delete question

Anybody know if I need to connect the green EWS wire from X20 pin 7? I'm in the middle of re-pinning my old X20 engine ('97 S52) side into a C101 engine side. I have an OBD2 reflash with EWS delete, secondary air pump, rear O2 and vac cannister deleted, etc. It's for a strictly track car ('early '87 325IS).
I would assume it is not needed, since I did the EWS delete, but I don't know if the wire normally carries a voltage signal needed for starting/running, and the EWS just disables that, or if that wire carries some sort of "disable" signal to prevent starting, and the EWS cuts that? Or if the wire does nothing, since EWS disabled? See what I'm saying? I have been through the ETMs, and I just can't tell what the real function is, with EWS deleted. I've also searched here and elsewhere, to no avail.
    Anybody dealt with this already?
    Thanks for any shared wisdom!

It is same as if you are installing red label 413 in the car, no need to cut any wires no need to connect any wires related to the EWS module.

Starter signal wire from E30 end to the stater wire on the E36 harness end.

No need to connect the EWS wiring to anything. And hes running an MS 41.1

Great! Thanks guys. I hoped that would be the case. The rest of the connections look really straightforward.
        Looking forward to a quick drop-in in 2 weeks.:D
