    s54 oil filter housing swap

Hello guys, Can anyone of you Knowledgeable tech's help me with this one.

I have an s54 oil filter housing and I would like to swap my m52 housing out for the s54 housing.

Does anybody know if I have to change any parts? Like for Ex: alternater, or belt tensioner from m52 to s54, assuming both engines have the same architectural measurement in belt drive. I did see the tensioners are different..

Are there any clearance issues with oil cooler lines? any pics would help

re-tap isn't necessary, VAC motorsports, Bimmerworld, and possibly others sell an adapter bolt that does the job. $30 and done.

in to hear others' experiences.. but from what I've researched here and on bimmerforums, it's a direct swap aside from the vanos bolt.
