    Wow your set up sounds pretty much exactly like mine. Just bought the car a couple weeks ago though and have never taken it to the strip.

          Dunno when I'll ever have a chance to get it to a strip but as of now it has a
          M50 NV
          UUC Pulleys
          OBD II manifolds
          K&N intake

          All of those were done by the previous owner. It's a fun car though.

            haha you weren't joking about having pretty much the same setup as me, anyway the weather is always nice down there so you'll have more chances to take it to the strip, do the tracks stay open year round? It's going to get shitty here pretty soon and the track up here will close for the season

                weather is pretty nice around here but I'm actually in LA now and not sure where any tracks are (plus I've never been to a strip before)

                      Sorry, I should have been more descriptive. Has anyone run sub 12's with a daily driver with 400ish whp. I know BMWSOB went that fast its just that a lot of the times on this thread seem kind of slow for the power to weight ratio of the e30. I understand 60 ft time and even ET's will suffer due to traction but I though the trap speeds would be higher. It seems a vehicle as light as the E30 should break into the 12's or even 11's with 300-400whp.

                          There are 2 guys who have run high 11s with around 300whp that have been discussed in this thread. I can't tell you there names off the top of my head but it's in here somewhere

                            i want to know how almost everybody here is running mid 13's to 14sec 1/4 in there E30 s50 swapped cars.. i dont see how you all are not running high 12's..

                            My old E36 M3 ran a 13.55 @ 99.95mph in the 1/4 and the cars weight was 3350 with me in it.

                            E30 Turbo 2.8L - 60ft - 1.70 :: 1/8th - 6.99 :: MPH - 105.47 :: 1/4 - 10.66 :: MPH - 132.53
                            *RIP* E36 M3 - 60ft - 1.944 :: 1/8th - 8.64 :: MPH - 80.00 :: 1/4 - 13.55 :: MPH - 99.95

                              These are not drag cars but I do fairly well in mine. I also have stripped my car and a few other things.

                                ya i know there not drag cars.. but what car is built to drag race these days..

                                here is a video of a guy semi local to me.. well he races at the track i do.

                                This E30 has a stock S52 motor/head.. it has 3.5"maf, 24lb injecters, chip, cams, underdrive pullys, full exhaust.. the only 2 things that a normal street car would not have that he does is a Tec3R and 225 drag radials..

                                1. Yes, the car as raced that day weighed in at 2705 with me in it. That is with the following items removed ,carpet, back seat , passenger front seat, spare tire, jack, both sway bars (mainly to clear the headers) insulation from trunk and interior floor,The car itself that day weighed 2550.
                                and yes i know the Tuning is helping and so are the drag radials but still.. there should be more people doing atleast highish 12s
