There is no time crunch. Honestly I don't see the motor going in the car till next summer some time.
Disapointed in UUC though. They are quick to tell you anything you want to hear, but don't follow through. I'm just going to head over to bavauto and see what they have kicking around. Done dicking around with UUC.

I re-used the bolts, but if I wasn't in a time crunch I would have gotten new hardware. Sourcing from a local nut&bolt house should be no problem as long as you get a high strength boltLeave a comment:

I reused mine...but it's not on a UUC flywheel. They are difficult to deal with.Leave a comment:

I have reused mine a few times with no issues. Put some thread loc blue on them and tourque those bitches down to 80 ft lbs and be done with it. But thats just what i didLeave a comment:

Well... afte a month and multiple e-mails, I guess I'm on my own. No response from Arjun. Was a nice guy to talk to but apparently too busy to help a cutomer. Maybe I should just follow the rest of the interwebz and get another flywheel.Leave a comment:

I just talked to Arjun (the CEO) of UUC yesterday at the bavauto show. He told me that they sell them as a complete set with the gaul plate to cover their ass. He told me they are stretch bolts and will get me the part numbers when he gets back to work. I'll let you guys know when I get it.Leave a comment:

Can you put up a part number for the people that don't need the plate as well. Are they reusable or strech bolts?Leave a comment:

These are a specific bolt, not available as a generic from McMaster. It's an alternate genuine BMW part, perfect length and strength rating. We're not marking these up significantly, I assure you!
The gall plate itself is a laser-cut piece that we make; not something you can buy off-the-shelf.Leave a comment:

UUC Flywheel bolts
I just looked at their website and they want $100 for the bolts and gaul plate. Can I get these anywhere else? That seems quite steep for flywheel bolts IMOTags: None
