I am going to remove the head and inspect before I purchase it. Then I am going to send to the machine shop to pressure check it. Most likely will rebuild the damn thing. Have any suggestions for new Pistons?

i picked up an M50TUB25 w/80k miles on it for $700 with the correct driveshaft i needed and a red label 413 ecu. I dropped it in and it runs better/quieter than any m20/m42 i've ever driven. i'd keep looking.

The M50TUB25 bolts right up to my E30 Transmission and works fine right?

do a search and read, there's a whole subsection of this forum on 24v swaps.

If you've got the G260 trans, with a twisted selector rod and different trans brace it will work just fine. I've been using that setup in 2 different swaps now and enjoy it.
