    Bleed coolant m50 swap?

I lost heat after i popped a coolant hose and im assuming theres air pockets in the system. I dont have a radiator cap because of the swap. How do i go about bleeding the system?

Do you have a bleeder screw on the tstat housing? If so, leave it open while you slowly pour 1 liter at a time into the tank. Massage the coolant hoses to squeeze air out of them as they are filling. Once the coolant tank starts to fill up, run the car with the heater on full hot and keep adding slowly to the tank. Obviously close the tstat bleeder screw once water comes out of it.

When water is running back into your coolant tank, it is reticulating and your heater should be blowing hot signifying it is correctly bled. If the tank is full but heater not getting hot, keep bleeding all air out of the tstat screw.

If you don't have a bleeder screw, same thing just with not bleeder screw steps. Patience while filling is key. It should take at least 5 minutes to fill from empty

buy one of these,we use them at work, makes bleeding so simple a cave man could do it. my Snap-On guy sells ALOT of them to the all the local dealers and shops. you can find them online for 20-30$

EDIT: completely forgot the BMW radiator caps are screw on, not sure if this will work. it may or may not come with the correct adapter you'll have to look it up.
