    extra wires possibly?

I have a harness from 93 automatic m50. I have stripped the auto plugs and most of the wiring on the inside, yet i am left with a few wires unaccounted for that I want to get figured out before I attach my c101.

There are 3 wires coming out of the ecu connector
    1 brown/black = pin 81
    1 brown/orange = pin 11
    1 brown/silver = pin 57

And i have 1 wire coming out of the 25 pin connector (to be replaced with c101)
pretty sure its pin 3, brown/silver

    Any idea what these are?

The length of the brown/silver wire out of the 25 pin connector seems to be long enough to connect to the brown/silver from the ecu.. Did I clip this on accident? I want to make sure before i resolder it back up. Or is it a remnant of the auto harness?

Okay, ive identified the pins on the ECU, and the ETM says their 'connection' is to the EGS

brown/silver is for 'ignition timing intervention'
brown/orange is for 'throttle valve position'
brown/black is for 'drive range p/n' - 'automatic transmission range switch'

Well ive pretty much solved my own problem here and will probably just be removing all these pins unless someone says otherwise.

I have the same 3 wires and all I did was cut them and left them there. I deleted all the automatic stuff and those were the only 3 left. Everything runs fine and they are not needed since they are from the auto portion of the harness.

I am still curious about the brown/silver wire on the x20 though, did you have that one?

I will have to check about that one. I am not sure. But if it is pin 3, then it doesnt matter since that doesnt get wired to the c101, or used if you were to make an adapter. I wouldn't worry much about it, just check the pin

I've got those 3 (different PIN numbers) and a few more. I've also got -
            48 - A/C compressor control
            60 - programming voltage
            85 - pressure signal
            86 - compressor signal
88 - TxD diagnostic data line

Any idea if these need to be run to the x20/c101 or need to be hooked up somewhere else? Thanks!
