You need to shorten and thread the 944 booster input rod, but it is the same thread diameter and pitch as the E30 clevis.

Any reason you couldn't follow the same procedure here for the most part in doing an OBD2 M54 swap?
If unnecessary functions like EWS and emissions junk, etc can be deleted from the M52/S52 ECU why can't the same be done for the M54?
Hopefully some of the tuners like TRM and DesertBMW can comment on this...Zinno '89 <24v swap in progress>
