    Booster options with 24V

I dont really want to downgrade my brakes, so an E21 booster isnt really my favorite idea... and its tough to find an Ix booster...

Ive been contemplating the project orca modified booster... But what is it they actually do to them?

Also Ive seen some guys say they just moved their booster slightly to the left... how does this work out when you connect the pushrod to the brake pedal? just heat and tweak the pedal mount or something?

if you slot the booster over you should really cut and weld the clevis offset as well so that the push is still straight.

735 booster and master. Same as iX booster. Much more available, much cheaper.

*Early* 735i booster. The changeover IIRC is in 1989.

Cool thanks I'm doing it this way. The thing for me is that I'm using e36 m3 brakes up front and would like to get a master that better matches up to my caliper piston size.. they work great until the pads wear to around 3/4 worn and they need to be pumped up every time i stop

                  E34 V8 uses a 25mm master... Works great with 5 lug..

I slotted the firewall and moved the whole pedal box and booster over. Drilled a hole for one bolt on the upper end of the pedal box. But i did this to move the pedals away from the gas pedal. And I'm a cheap-ass. Because r3v taught me so ;)

Audi A4 booster with MC.. just modify the clevis. Direct fit. Instead of using 4 bolts, it only uses two but still works.

what year A4? b5 chassis? do you use it with the m3 brakes?

this thread is turning into a chassis conversation in the 24v board...oops

I used a Porsche 944 booster, direct-fit, only had to modify the pushrod.
