I swapped the stock double-mass flywheel out for the UUC stage 2 flywheel + M5 clutch. Now I have some transmission chatter which I would like to eliminate. I heard that changing transmission fluid to a thicker grade would help.
UUC recommend a mix of the Redline 75w140NS and either the D4 ATF or MT-90. However, the 75w140NS cannot be found in the part where I live. I wonder if I can substitute that with other fluid such as 80w140 differential oil or fluid from other brand at all.
I also read that UUC used to recommend the MT-90 entirely in the past. How effective is the MT-90 when compared to the mix mentioned earlier?
Right now I believe I'm running OEM BMW fluid.
