    Hood Release Cable

Does anyone know if there's a longer hood release cable I can use instead of the stock E30 cable?

trying to tuck it into the fender are ya?

maybe just measure something up. as long as it has proper tension to release the front latch, i don't see why any old cable wouldn't work.

as long as it engages with the latch and the in-cabin release lever and has the proper tension, it ought to work.

i'd make sure you put some rubber grommets anywhere the cable might rub on sheetmetal.. just to prevent any fraying/failure over time.
