    emissions delete questions

hey guys whats going on, so im still trying to finish up my s50 swap before i freeze my nuts off and i want to get rid of any and all emissions things i can get rid of for less hoses and line and whatnot. idc about emissions since im not running cats anyways. so i'd like to know what can i delete and what needs to be plugged, etc?

also i'd like to know if there are any coolant hoses that i can delete. ive seen a few instances of people not running their throttle body hoses? is that correct? anything else?

    thanks alot

what do you have against clean air, dawg?

seriously though, if you're running OBD1 there isn't much you need to worry about. just plumb up the catch can, and if i'm not mistaken, you don't even need to worry about the throttle body heater lines, as it's an OBD2 addition.

Honestly, I'd leave the throttle body heater circuit intact.

It is present in the M50 and S50. You can remove the auxiliary thermostat circuit if you'd like to reduce the hose count.

i dont have anything against clean air. yea ill most likely do a catch can.
i thought there really is no point in throttle body heater lines?

They are there to keep the throttle body from freezing. If you live anywhere where it gets near to freezing, you should keep them. (In other words, you're in NJ, keep them.). Otherwise, you risk having the throttle stick on you.

It's pretty easy to hook up. Why not keep it?

If you look into the charcoal canister stuff, it ends up being much more efficient and practical to keep it and get a new canister, it will last forever and works well.

No real point in deleting TB heater circuit except if you want to run a sender or something

If you want to run a catch can you can, but if you're looking at eliminating as much as you can why don't you just hook it up OEM stylez?

I don't think there's any point in not running cats in any car really, just IMO. My vibrant ones sound and look nice and eliminates the need for a resonator in my system
