M52 cylinder head blockoff race setup

M52 OBDI swapped and gearing towards strictly race/weekend setup.

I'm staring at my cylinder head and wondering if the coolant flow is going to be enough, since I have blocked off the heater-core access at the rear and plugged the inlet with the 24V DME coolant temp sensor.

From what I have researched on multiple forums, I still dont have a definitive answer on any issues from blocking the rear port of the cylinder head AND plugging the inlet to the cylinder head...

-Will there be enough flow from the block-side of the coolant passages?
-No hotspots will arise from this setup?

If anybody has any input, that would be sweet.

    My planned coolant hose setup:

    -Upper/lower rad hoses
-Main coolant supply from reservoir to back of the water pump
-Bleeder hose from top of radiator to reservoir

This is what I'm hooking up today on mine, but I haven't run it so I can't provide any feedback yet. In theory it should work, otherwise I'll be doing a headgasket really soon.

From what I'm seeing, it looks like coolant is only flowing through that portion of the head for the heater core...so deleting the entry port (or plugging with a temp sensor) and blocking off the rear exit of the head makes sense.

Let me know how it turns out for you, I'm less than a week away from starting my car...
